Logging onto Mofo Access for the First Time

 

-

-Prior to logging onto http://remote.mofo.com, see modifying your browser settings and disable Pop-up Blockers: Click here.


-Use the Sample below as a guide to logging in for the first time.

Username: Enter your Windows Logon ID (ie:xxx1).  The same logon ID you use in the Office.

Network Password: This is the same password you use to log in the office. 

Keyfob Passcoode: Enter the passcode from the RSA Applet on your Blackberry or the 4 digit pin followed by the numeral display on your Key Fob.  For more information on how to get your Keyfob Passcode, Click here.

What type of Computer: Select the type of computer you are using. This can be Firm Laptop, Home PC or a Kiosk computer such as in a hotel or airport. 

Where is your office located: Select the Region your office is located in.

Sign in: Click sign in after you have populated the fields with your information.  This should be after have made the necessary browser modifications. 

Username:


 
Enter your username (example: xxx2).

Network Password:


 
Same password you use to log into your desktop.

Keyfob Passcode:


 
4 digit PIN followed by the 6 digits on your Key Fob.

-After clicking "Sign On" Mofo Access will install the Secure Applications Manager (SAM) client.

Accessing and Entering your Keyfob Passcode into Mofo Access

 

-Your Passcode is available on your Keyfob (Hard Token) or from the RSA Security Applet on your Blackberry (Soft Token). 

Keyfob:

Enter the 4 digit PIN* followed by the 6 digit numeral displayed on the Key Fob, (i.e.: ABCD123456) into the Keyfob passcode field at remote.mofo.com.

Black Berry:
  

Enter the 8 digit numeric displayed on the Black Berry, (i.e.: 12345678) into the Keyfob passcode field. 
 

Note: Do not enter a PIN or any characters into the Blackberry itself.  When it says "Enter Pin" on the Blackberry click in and choose get Passcode.  Enter this 8 digit Passcode into the passcode field at remote.mofo.com. 


-If you receive “Invalid Secondary ID” attempt to Logon after following these Instructions, Click here.

Windows Vista: Instructions for Connecting to Mofo Access from Vista

 

-Turn Off User Account Control (UAC) from the User Applet in Control Panel.

-Click on Start (Windows Icon in Lower Left Corner

-Control Panel

-Switch to Classic View (upper left side)

-Click on Users

-Click on Turn User Account Control on or off. (See Screen Shot Below)

-Uncheck to turn off.

-Restart Machine. 

 

   

 

-Install Citrix Client v10 for Windows: Click here and choose Run

 

-Install the latest Java Client (Recommended): Click here and choose Run.

 

-See “Modify your Browser Settings” and be sure to disable pop-up blockers in Internet Explorer 7, Click here

 

-Logon to http://remote.mofo.com/vista or Click on the Windows Vista button Windows Vista from remote.mofo.com.  For more information about how to logon, Click here to see “Logging onto Mofo Access for the First Time.” 

            -Right Click on Internet Explorer Bar and chose install Active X Control

            -Firewall & Internet Explorer may prompt, Choose always allow, allow or enable.

 

-You will arrive at the Tabs page for Windows (Services available after successfully logging on): Click here for more information regarding the Tabs page.


-Click on the Citrix Remote Desktop for your office. (i.e: Remote Desktop – San Francisco)

            -Firewall & Internet Explorer may prompt, Choose allow or enable.

Macintosh: Instructions for Connecting to Mofo Access from a Mac

 

-Note: Mofo Technology Services Primary focus is supporting Windows based systems; Macintosh OS X (from Safari) support is provided on a best effort, next business basis.  Please contact the support Center at VIP@Mofo.com for help.

-Install Citrix Client for Macintosh

-v7.1 for Intel-Based Macs, Click here

-v7.0 for PowerPC - Based Macs, Click here

 

-Open a web browser and navigate to: http://remote.mofo.com/mac.  For more information, Click here to see “Logging onto Mofo Access for the First Time.” 

 

-You will arrive at the “Tabs” Page for Macintosh (See screen shot of Mac Tabs page below): Click Here for more information regarding the Services Available on the Tabs Page.

                               

-Click on the Citrix Remote Desktop for your office. (I.E: Remote Desktop – San Francisco).  The JSAM client will start to launch. 


-Click Yes at the verify certificate prompt

 
 

         

-Depending on your Macintosh operating system version, you may receive an Authentication prompt (shown below).  Enter the user name and password you use to log into your Macintosh.

 

-You may be prompted to download the Juniper Application Manager (Shown below), please allow this installation

 

 

-You will be able to Work normally on the Citrix Remote Desktop.

 

-If The Citrix Remote desktop is Slow or Doesn’t  Launch at All, Click here to resolve this (This Configuration Change is Recommended for All Mac Users.)

Modifying your Browser Settings

 

-Modify your browser settings according to the instructions below depending on the Browser and Version.  MoFo Technology Services recommends you allow Pop-ups from *.mofo.com.  The Phishing filter is also known to cause issues as well.  The additional configurations listed here may be required for remote.mofo.com to work properly. 

 

-In Windows to Determine the Version of your Browser: Launch the Browser, Click on the Help menu and Choose About.  You most likely have IE v6 or v7. 

 

-Internet Explorer (IE) 7: Modifying Settings in IE 7

-Pop-ups: Allow Pop-ups from *.mofo.com: Launch IE, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; Go to the Privacy Tab/ Section; Add *.mofo.com and click Allow. 

-Trusted Sites: Configuring Mofo Access as a Trusted Site: Launch IE, Click on to Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; Go to the Security tab and click on the Trusted Sites icon; Click on sites button; Uncheck require https and add *.mofo.com 

-Deleting your Browser’s Cache: Launch IE, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; General tab; Under browsing history, click on Delete; Delete Temporary Internet Files 

-Deleting your Browser’s Cookies: Launch IE, Go to Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options, General tab; Under browsing history click on Delete, Delete Cookies.  

-Disabling the Fishing Filter: Launch IE, Go to Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; Advanced tab; Scroll to the bottom; Choose Disable Phishing Filter. 

-Enabling JavaScript in your Browser: Launch IE, Go to Tools and Choose Internet Options; Advanced tab; Scroll half-way down and look for Java (Sun); Check Use. 

-Managing Add-ons: Launch IE, Go to Tools and Choose Internet Options; Programs tab; click on Manage add-ons, Look for Citrix ICA Client and NeoterisSetup Control and make sure they are set to enabled.  Note: Citrix Client may or may not be shown in this list.

 

-Internet Explorer v6 & 5.5: Modifying Settings in IE 6 or 5.5:

-Pop-Ups: Allow Pop-ups from Mofo Access: Launch IE, Click on the Allow Pop-up Button for both Google & Yahoo Toolbar. 

-Trusted Sites: Configuring Mofo Access as a Trusted Site: Launch IE, Click on to Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; Go to the Security tab and Click on the Trusted Sites Icon; Click on Sites Button; Uncheck Require https and Add *.mofo.com 

-Deleting your Browser’s Cache: Launch IE, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; General tab; Under Temporary Internet Files, Click on Delete Files; Check Delete All Off-line Content and Click OK. 

-Deleting your Browser’s Cookies: Launch IE, Go to Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options, General tab, Under browsing history click on Delete, Delete Cookies.   (*IE6 Only)

-Enabling JavaScript in your Browser: Launch IE,  Go to Tools and Choose Internet Options; Advanced tab; Scroll half-way down and look for Java (Sun); Check Use. 

-Deleting Your Browser History:  Launch IE, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Internet Options; General tab; Under History, Click on Clear History and Yes at the Prompt. 

 

*Manually Delete Cookies in IE5.5:  From the Windows Desktop, Click on My Computer, C: Drive, Documents and Settings, <Your Username>, Cookies, Edit Menu Select All and Delete.

 

-Safari: Modifying Settings in Safari v2.0:

-Pop-ups: Allow Pop-ups from *.mofo.com: Launch Safari, Click on Safari Menu and Uncheck Block Pop-ups.  

-Deleting your Browser’s Cache: Launch Safari, Click on Safari Menu and Empty Cache. Click Empty Button at the Prompt

-Deleting your Browser’s Cookies: Launch Safari, Click on Safari Menu and Choose Preferences; Click on Security Icon and Choose Show Cookies; Click Remove All and then Remove All from the Prompt.

-Enabling JavaScript in your Browser: Launch Safari, Click on Safari Menu and Choose Preferences; Click on Security Icon and Check Allow Cookies. 

-Enabling JavaScript in your Browser: Launch Safari, Click on Safari Menu and Choose Preferences; Click on Security Icon and Check Enable Java and Enable JavaScript. 

  

-FireFox: Modifying Settings in FireFox v2.0:

-Pop-ups: Allow Pop-ups from *.mofo.com: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Content Icon; Click on Exceptions; In Address of Web site type *.mofo.com and click Allow.  Click Close.

-Trusted Sites: Configuring Mofo Access as a Trusted Site: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Security Icon; Click on Exceptions; In Address of Web site type *.mofo.com and click Allow.  Click Close.

-Deleting your Browser’s Cache: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Privacy Icon; In Private Data Section Click on Clear Now; Check Cache and Click on Clear Private Data Now. 

-Deleting your Browser’s Cookies: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Privacy Icon; In Private Data Section Click on Clear Now; Check Cookies and Click on Clear Private Data Now.  

-Disabling the Fishing Filter: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Security Icon; Un-check Tell Me if the Site I’m Visting is a Suspected Forgery. 

-Enabling JavaScript in your Browser: Launch Firefox, Click on Tools Menu and Choose Options; Click on the Content Icon; Check Enable JavaScript; Check Enable Java.  Click OK. 

 

-Disabling Pop-Up Blockers (Google & Yahoo Toolbars)

-Google: Launch Your Browser (IE or FireFox), Go to Remote.Mofo.com and Click on the One of the Following Buttons: Allow Pop-ups, XX Blocked. 

 

 

 

 

-Yahoo: Launch Internet Explorer (Pop-up Blocker only available for IE in v7).  You may need to add the Pop-Up Blocker Icon to toolbar; Click on Settings, Add, Edit Toolbar Icons, In Bottom Names Click on Pop-Up Blocker and then, Click on Add this Button.  Go to http://remote.mofo.com and Click on Pop-Up Blocker Icon to Disable.  The Button Should Display in Blue indicating it is Disabled.

Securing your Home PC

-It is important to secure your Home PC against malicious threats from the Internet so that the Juniper Secure Applications Manager (SAM), the Citrix Client and your Internet Access remain stable and reliable.  Please follow these steps to ensure your Machine is secured. 

 

-SpyWare Protection: Mofo Tech Services recommends you do Monthly Scans for SpyWare on your Home PC using the following Free Utilities:

-Lavasoft’s Adaware: Click here and choose Run. (Update, Scan and Delete malicious software)

-Spybot Search & Destroy: Click here and choose Run. (Update, Scan Delete & Immunize)

     

Note: These utilities need to be run manually and will not show up in the Windows Security Center because they do not run on your system in real-time

 

-Go to Start, Control, Panel and Launch Windows Security Center

-Verify Windows Automatic Updates is Enabled. 

-Verify you have a Firewall Enabled (Windows Firewall) 

-Verify you are Running Mal-Ware Protection (Virus & SpyWare Protection) (Display’s in Vista Security Center only and not XP)

-Verify you have Anti-Virus Software Installed and Up-to-Date

 

-Symantec AntiVirus: If necessary, Download and Install the Firm Licensed Copy of Symantec Antivirus (Uninstall the Trial Version of your Anti-Virus Software Provided by the Manufacturer) Authenticate to http://remote.mofo.com, click on Help; Click on Software Downloads and then, Download and Install the Appropriate Version for your Operating System.

I receive “No Citrix Server on Specified Address” when I click on the Citrix Remote Desktop 

 

-Windows Vista (Issue specific to Vista): If you received this message in Windows Vista, the Problem is Related to the Juniper Secure Accounts Manager (SAM) software.  Try the following:

            -Log out of http://remote.mofo.com and log back in.  Test Citrix Remote Desktop Again.

-Un-install and Re-install SAM: Go to Start, Control Panel, Programs and Functions; Find Juniper Secure Applications Manager and highlight by Clicking.  Choose Uninstall.  Go back to http://remote.mofo.com and Log on (Be sure User Account Control is turned Off: Click here to see Windows Vista Instructions)

 

-Windows XP (Issue specific to XP): If you receive this Message in Windows XP

-Install the following Windows XP Patch: Click here and choose Run.

-Go to Start, Control, Panel and Launch Windows Security Center and check to see if Automatic Updates are On (Enable Automatic Updates if they are not on)

 

-Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, McAfee Internet Security (Security Center) And/ or Security Settings in your Browser may be blocking communication to MoFo Access.

I receive “Invalid Secondary ID” When I try to log on

-This message may result from a user attempting to enter their 4 digit passcode into Blackberry.

-Please do not enter anything into your Blackberry when it says "Enter Pin."  Instead click in on the Blackberry wheel and choose get passcode.  Enter this passcode into the Key Fob field.

-This message may result from a problem with your Key Fob or Blackberry soft token being out of sync. 

-Please contact the support center and have them attempt to Re-synchronize your token.

-Occasionally, tokens will not re-synch.  If this occurs, the support center will assign you a temporary static Passcode for a period of one week.  You will be able to login however; you will need to see a member of your local TS staff to resolve the issue with your Passcode.

Citrix is Slow, Freezes or Doesn’t Launch at All on My Mac

 

-Click on your Macintosh Hard Drive, Click on the Citrix ICA Client folder and then open the Citrix ICA Client Editor (Shown below)


-Click on the Default Settings button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Change the Network Protocol to TCP/IP (from HTTPS + TCP/IP) and click on the Save button (Shown below)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

-Close the Citrix ICA Client Editor Window and Logout of the MoFo Access system.  Log back onto the MoFo Access System again

On My PC, Citrix Occasionally Freezes or is Slow

 

-There are a number of variables that may cause your Citrix Session to occasionally freeze, hang or become un-responsive to mouse clicks and keyboard strokes.  These variables are listed here along with appropriate steps address them.


-If you are having difficulty from your home PC, you should test your MoFo laptop from home at some point to confirm it is an issue with your home PC and not an issue with your router, modem or Internet Access.  Un-responsive Citrix sessions most often occur from user's home PC's.

-Instability often arises from Parasites or Spyware that have been inadvertently downloaded to your machine when browsing the Internet

-Click here to clear your browser's Cache (Modify your browser settings)

-Un-Install the SAM and Citrix Clients and Re-install the latest versions

-To Un-install In Windows Vista, Click on Start Control Panel, Programs (and Functions), Highlight Secure Applications Manager (SAM) and click uninstall.  Highlight Citrix Presentation Server Client and click un-install.

-To Un-install Windows XP, Click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/ Remove Programs, Highlight Secure Applications Manager (SAM) and click on remove.  Highlight Citrix Presentation Server and click remove.

-To Install Citrix Presentation Server Client, Click here and choose run.

-To Install the SAM client, return to http://remote.mofo.com and log on.  It will push down the SAM client automatically.  You may also download and install, click here.

 

-Modify Security Settings in your Browser (Disable phishing filter), Norton Internet Security and/ or McAfee Internet Security (Security Center) to allow/ Exclude Mofo Access and Citrix from Security systems.

-Click here to Disable the Phishing Filter in your Browser (Modify Your Browser Settings).

 

-Restart your Modem, Router and Home PC

-Turn off your home PC, Click on Start, Shutdown and Shutdown

-Pull the A/C Adaptor (Power Plug) from you Cable or DSL Modem and Router.  Leave all devices off for 30 seconds.

-Power up in your Cable or DSL Modem and wait 30 Seconds.  You should see activity and Internet lights start to blink.

-Power up your Router (You may not have one; your modem may be directly connected to you PC).  You should see activity and Internet lights start to blink

-Turn on your home PC. 

-Test your connectivity.

 

-Update the FirmWare of your Wireless Router

-If you have a older router the firmware (software that runs the router) may be too old to handle the security protocols used by http://remote.mofo.com.  Please schedule a time with a member of your local Technology Services Staff to bring in your router so they may apply the appropriate updates to your device.

I Have Difficulties Printing from Citrix to my Home Printer

 

-Note: Printing to your home printer from Citrix may require some special configuration in the Citrix environment to support your Printer, especially if you own an HP All-in-One or other specialty printer.  You may have difficulties with certain types of documents such as .pdf or not be able to print at all.

 

-Verify that you can print a document from your the Desktop of your Home PC (without Citrix)

-Print any test document

 

-Verify your home Printer is Set as Default Printer

-In Windows XP: Click on Start, Settings, Printers and Faxes. Locate your printer and make sure there is a checkmark on it indicating it is set as default. To set as default, right-Click on the Printer and choose set as default.

-In Windows Vista: Click on Start, Control Panel, Printers. Locate your printer and make sure there is a checkmark on it indicating it is set as default. To set as default, right-Click on the Printer and choose set as default.

-Log off of the Citrix Remote Desktop and then Click the link to launch the Remote Desktop of your Choice again and test Printing Functionality. 

 

-Verify that you have Citrix File Security set to "Full Access" and "Never Ask"

-Place the mouse over the upper border of the Citrix Window, Right Click and choose File Security Status as shown below

 

-Verify that Client Security is set to "Full Access" and "Never Ask" as shown below.  If this is not the case Log out of Citrix and re-Launch your desktop to see if Citrix is able to Map your local printer after making this Change.


-Employ this Work-around to be able to Print a Document Immediately in Windows

-Save your document to your local desktop and Print from you home Windows or Macinthosh PC (Instructions to follow)

-In your Citrix Session in the document you are working on, Click on File, Save as, At the Save As Prompt Click Cancel (Shown Below)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-At the Prompt, Do you want to Save, Click Yes (Shown Below)

 

 

 

 

 

 

-At the Save As Screen, Click the Down Arrow (Drop down list) and Choose (Z:) Your PC and Click on Save.

 

 

 

 

 

 

       

 

-Minimize the Citrix Window and Click on My Computer from the Start Menu or Desktop.  Click on C: drive and Find your document.  Launch your document and choose File, Print and then OK.

 

-Send an email including your Printer name as it appears in the Printers Folder as described below

-In Windows Vista go to Start Control Panel and Printers.  Look for your Printer and Send the Exact Name of the Printer as it is shown in an email to rasteam@mofo.com  In the subject line place the words “Citrix Printer Mapping Issue” and in the body of the email include the make and model of the printer.

-In Mac, Click on the System Preferences Icon on the Task Bar (bottom of screen) and launch the Print and Fax applet in the hardware section.  Look for your Printer and Send the Exact Name of the Printer as it is shown in an email to rasteam@mofo.com  In the subject line place the words “Citrix Printer Mapping Issue, Mac” and in the body of the email include the make and model of the printer.

-If you recently updated your XP machine to SP2 and you receive the following error message "No Citrix Server Available on Specified address, install the following Windows XP Patch: Click here and choose Run.

 

-Spyware Removal Tools:  You may download the and install the following Freeware tools

-Lavasoft’s Adaware: Click here and choose Run. (Update, Scan and Delete malicious software)

-Spybot Search & Destroy: Click here and choose Run. (Update, Scan Delete & Immunize)

Configuring Norton Internet Security 2007 (NIS) for Mofo Access

 

-The FireWall in NIS may block Citrix Client or Juniper SAM from communicating with http://remote.mofo.com

-To configure Citrix as an Exception: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton Internet Security, Click on Norton Internet Security Tab, Click on Settings. Click on Personal Firewall, Choose configure.  If Citrix is listed in the Program List, change its Access to Allow.  If it is not listed, Click on Add, Click on the Citrix Folder, Click on ICA, Highlight wfica32 and at the Program Control prompt choose Allow and click OK

-To configure SAM as an Exception: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton Internet Security, Click on Norton Internet Security Tab, Click on Settings. Click on Personal Firewall, Choose configure.  If dsSAmProxy is listed in the Program List change its Access to Allow.  If it is not listed, Click on Add, Click on the Neoteris Folder, Click on Secure Applications Manager, Highlight dsSamProxy and at the Program Control prompt choose Allow and click OK.

-To disable the Firewall (not recommended): Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton Internet Security, Click on Norton Internet Security Tab, Click on Settings. Click on Personal Firewall, Choose Turn Off.  Select duration and click OK.

-To Set Citrix and SAM as Exclusions from Auto-Protect and Risk Scanning: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton Internet Security, Click on Norton Internet Security Tab, Click on Settings. Click on Auto-Protect, Click on Configure, Click on Scan Exclusions.  Under Risk Scanning click on New, in the Add item Prompt, Click on My Computer, Local Disk C:, Program Files, Citrix, ICA Client.  Under Risk Scanning Click on New, Click on My Computer, Click on Program Files, Click on Neoteris and Highlight Secure Applications Manager and click OK.  Do the same for both Citrix and SAM in the Auto-Protect Scanning Area

-The Phishing filter in NIS is may Cause the Citrix Remote Desktop to Become un-Responsive.

-To disable the Phishing Filter: Launch Internet Explorer, Click on the IE Tools button, Click on Internet Options, Go to the Programs Tab, Click on Manage Add-ons, Highlight Norton Confidential, Under Settings choose Disable and Hit OK, Restart your browser

Configuring Norton 360 for Mofo Access

-The FireWall in Norton 360 is known block Citrix Client and may block the Juniper Secure Applications Manager (SAM) from communicating with http://remote.mofo.com

-To configure Citrix as an Exception in the Norton Firewall: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner; Click on Change Advanced Settings in the middle right-hand side. Click on Firewall Protection Settings.  Click on the Firewall Program Rules Tab; Look for the Citrix ICA Client.  Change the drop down list from Custom (or Block) to Allow and Click Apply.

-To configure SAM as an Exception in the Norton Firewall: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner; Click on Change Advanced Settings in the middle right-hand side. Click on Firewall Protection Settings.  Click on the Firewall Program Rules Tab; Look for the SAM Client.  Change the drop down list from Custom (or Block) to Allow and Click Apply.

 

-To disable the Firewall (not recommended): Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner; Click on Change Advanced Settings in the middle right-hand side. Click on Firewall Protection Settings.  On the General Tab where it says Firewall set to Off and Click Apply. 

 

 

 

 

-Additional Security Services Included with Norton 360 may cause issues with Mofo Access (only needed if you experience drops or freezes or other Issues).

-To Set Citrix and SAM as Exclusions from Auto-Protect and Risk Scanning: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner; Click on Undo & Exclude.  On Both the Virus & Spyware and Browser Settings Tabs Click on Settings Locate the Exclusions Box.  Add C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client and C:\Program Files\Neoteris\Secure Application Manager and Click Apply.

-To Remove Remote Access as a Threat Category: Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner and Click on Virus & Spyware Settings; Click on the Threat Categories Tab and uncheck Remote Access.

-To Turn Off Sonar Service:  Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner and Click on Virus & Spyware Settings.  On the Automatic Protection Settings Tab, click the check box next to Turn on SONAR and Click Apply.

-To Disable Intrusion Prevention:   Go to Start, Programs, Launch Norton 360. Click on Tasks & Settings in the upper-right hand corner and Click on Firewall Settings.  On the Intrusion Prevention Tab, un-check the Intrusion Prevention check box.

-To disable the Phishing Filter: Launch Internet Explorer, Click on the IE Tools button, Click on Internet Options, Go to the Programs Tab, Click on Manage Add-ons, Highlight Norton Confidential, Under Settings choose Disable and Hit OK, Restart your browser

-The FireWall in McAfee may block Citrix Client or Juniper SAM from communicating with remote.mofo.com

-To configure Citrix as an Exception: Launch the McAfee Security Center and Click on the Advanced Menu on the Lower Left Hand side, Click on Configure, Click on Internet & Network, Click on Firewall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click on the Advanced Button, Click on Program Permissions, Click on Add Allowed Program.  Click on Computer, Click on Local Disk (C:), Program Files, Citrix, ICA Client and then wfica32.exe, Click Open and then OK

-To configure SAM as an Exception: To configure Citrix as an Exception: Launch the McAfee Security Center and Click on the Advanced Menu on the Lower Left Hand side, Click on Configure, Click on Internet & Network, Click on Firewall. Click on the Advanced Button, Click on Program Permissions, Click on Add Allowed Program.  Click on Computer, Click on Local Disk (C:), Program Files, Neoteris, Secure Applications Manager and then dsSamProxy.exe., Click Open and then OK

-The Pop-up Blocker in McAfee Security Center may block Mofo Access.

-To disable the Phishing Filter: Launch the McAfee Security Center and Click on the Advanced Menu on the Lower Left Hand side, Click on Configure, Click on Internet & Network, Click on Web browsing protection, Click on Advanced and Un-Check Block Pop-up windows from Appearing.

Connecting your Mofo Wireless Notebook to your home Wireless Network

 

-Logon to your Mofo laptop

-You will receive a message that the server copy of your roaming profile cannot be located and that you will be logged on using your local profile.  This is normal and expected.

 

-Establish Wireless Connectivity  

-Look for the Wireless Network Icon in the System Tray and Right Click on it and Select View Available Networks. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Select View Available Networks.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

            -Choose your home network from the list of available networks and click connect. 

 

-If you have security enabled on your Wireless Router Windows will prompt you for a Key.  Please enter the appropriate key. 

 

-Wait until you see the word “Connected” next to the name of your network (Shown above for the Private only Network) and then close the Window.  You should be able to browse the Internet and go to http://remote.mofo.com
